Item is an image of an Inuit man standing above a baby seal wrapped in blankets and tied to a sled. The story with the photo goes as follows: "River, educated Inuit, brought us a little baby seal. He had killed it's mother. We dug a hole thru the ice at the stern of the ship [and] tried to feed it but one day a dog got loose [and] that was the end of our pet seal." The file comes with the original contact print and an enlarged photograph.
