A probable copy of the watercolour over pencil painting titled 'Fishing at Sault Ste. Marie Ontario, 1869' by William Armstrong. This painting features two Ojibwa canoes in the Saint Mary's River, with four men fishing with nets. A steam ship can be seen on the horizon. Signed at the lower right corner: 'Painted by FP Hurd.'
