Tile from Maud's galley. Pattern has been cast into top to give traction and water run-off. Pattern is of two elements with a cross being formed from bands running from each corner. The triangles that these create are filled with bumps. One corner has been broken off of the tile. The base is covered with brown felt. Attached to felt is a hand printed note that reads Galley deck tile from Roald Amundsen's schooner Maud, later became Hudson's Bay Company's "BayMaud".Retrieved from hull at Cambridge Bay.
