DescriptionBrass bell from the Beaver, cone-shaped with flared lip at mouth. There is a square brass post soldered into the top of the bell and is bolted onto a wall base with an extended arm. The base and the arm are vanished wood, oak, and mahogany respectively. There are three bullet holes in the back of the bell. Stamped on the from of the bell, Beaver 1835. The bell clapper is iron and has an eye on the end of it.
History of UseThis bell is probably the one used by the cook in the galley.
