Description
This is a jar, once filled with mustard pickles, as the scent is still pungent. The bottle is embossed with the "Rowat & Co. Glasgow" on two sides of the body. It has a wide mouth, with wax seal enclosing the top. Carved in to the wax is "UASBC May 29/JY 78". Barnacles and canvas bits are attached to the glass.The object is in a plexiglass case, on three sides, screwed into painted green wood.
