DescriptionHand colored panorama lithograph of Hong Kong, based on the engravings of L.G. Heath RN of the HMS Iris in 1846, and their view from the Anchorage of Hong Kong. This image depicts the Lantao Peak from the water, depicting outlying islands including Stonecutter's Island and Lantau, with a number of frigates moving around in the Anchorage. Varieties of boats are sailing on the water, with a green mountain range and body of land in the distance. On the bottom of the piece, key ships and land marks are listed in text.
