Sea anchor. The anchor is shaped like an open-ended canvas cone. A wooden hoop holds open the wide end; the other end is open and about 7cm. in diameter. Three ropes are symmetrically fastened to the wooden hoop and spliced together in the centre. Fastened to one of these ropes is an oil bag 48cm. long by 28cm. with a wooden plug in its mouth. "Sea King" and a fish inscribed in a triangle are stamped on the oil bag. There is a rope loop on the small end of the anchor.
