In 1939 her route was Copenhagen, Southampton, St. Thomas, Kingston, Cristobal, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Vancouver. Return voyages: Vancouver, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Panama Canal, Kingston, St. Thomas, London, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Gothenburg, Copenhagen.

In 1943 she was torpedoed and sunk in Atlantic by U306 off Greenland coast on April 22, 1943 with loss of 86 passengers including 37 Canadian pilots in transit to England.
