She worked the Stikine River in 1898-1899 and the Yukon River service in 1901. On July 9, 1936 she was wrecked when she hit a rock at Rink Rapids on the Yukon River and beached at Dawson City, YT. Her engine was used in the second Casca. In 1974 she was destroyed by fire. The name is supposed to be from Kaska (a band of Athbascan First Nations).
