Vessel Description

In 1899-1903 she was a troop transport vessel during the Boer war. In 1906-14 she was in Pacific service. In 1914-15 she was a troopship in Admiralty service.In 1915-22 she was in Pacific service. In 1918 she carried the British and Canadian forces sent to the Siberian Expeditionary Force in Siberia in the vain effort to thwart the Russian Revolution. In 1923 she was in Atlantic service. In 1926 she was laid up.
