Vessel Description

In 1929-1945 she was owned by British Columbia Packers Ltd., Vancouver BC. In 1942 she was commissioned into the Royal Canadian Navy Fishermen's Reserve as H.M.C.S. Van Isle, a Canadian Naval Patrol Vessel, Fishermen's Reserve. From 1942-44 she served as tender to H.M.C.S. Givenchy and H.M.C.S. Givenchy II. In 1944 she was returned to her owners. In 1944-1997 she was owned by British Columbia Packers Ltd., Vancouver BC. In 2001-2015 she was owned by Leonard E. Ellis, owner of Bella Coola Grizzly Tours. In August 2015 she sank in the Bella Coola Harbour.
