Vessel Description

Alaska Prince, Northland Navigation Co. Ltd., built 1919 as the Chilkoot. Later named Border Prince in 1934 (Border Navigation Company Ltd.) and renamed the Alaska Prince in 1954. Collided with the CPR Princess Elaine at the entrance to Vancouver Harbour in January 1960. Repaired and later converted to a floating bunk-house in 1972. Sank near Port Mellon in 1973.
